1. Introduction
These Website Terms of Use ("Terms") govern general access to and use of the RM — Results Measured website (www.r-m.co.za), operated by Results Measured (Pty) Ltd, Registration Number 2019/552604/07 ("RM", "we", "our", or "us"), including the free VACAG Self-Test.
By accessing or using the RM website, you agree to these Terms. If you go on to book and pay for an assessment, the separate RM Terms & Conditions govern that engagement. These Terms should be read together with the RM Privacy Policy and RM Cookie Policy.
2. Who These Terms Are For
These Terms apply to anyone browsing the RM website or completing the free VACAG Self-Test, whether or not they go on to book a paid assessment.
3. The Free VACAG Self-Test
The Self-Test is a free, self-reported diagnostic tool. It is provided to give you a general, directional read across the five VACAG pillars and to recommend a suitable starting assessment.
The Self-Test is not:
- a substitute for a paid RM assessment;
- professional financial, tax, legal, or compliance advice;
- a certification, audit, or formal risk assessment;
- independently verified by RM — results are based entirely on your own answers.
Results and recommendations are provided "as is," based on the information you provide. RM makes no guarantee as to the completeness or applicability of Self-Test results to your specific circumstances.
4. Acceptable Use
When using the RM website, you agree not to:
- attempt unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems;
- interfere with website security, functionality, or availability;
- upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the site;
- scrape, copy, or reproduce site content, the VACAG framework, or Self-Test questions/content for commercial use without RM's written consent;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation;
- use the website for any unlawful purpose, including posting or sharing unlawful or obscene material, defamation, abuse, harassment, deceptive marketing, or misrepresentation.
To the full extent permitted by law, you indemnify and hold RM harmless against any liabilities, claims, costs, demands, or damages arising directly or indirectly from your breach of these Terms.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the RM website — including the VACAG framework, its name and structure, Self-Test questions and diagnostic content, methodology descriptions, branding, logos, and written content — is the property of RM — Results Measured (Results Measured (Pty) Ltd) and is protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual property law.
You may view and use website content for your own personal or internal business reference. You may not reproduce, redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit RM's content, framework, or methodology without RM's prior written consent.
6. No Professional Advice
Nothing on the RM website — including blog content, methodology pages, or Self-Test results — constitutes professional financial, tax, legal, or compliance advice. You should seek advice from a qualified professional for decisions relying on such advice.
7. Website Availability
The RM website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. RM does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or permanent availability, and may update, modify, or restrict the website at any time.
Whilst reasonable efforts are made to keep the website free from destructive code (such as viruses), RM cannot guarantee the website is free from destructive code and shall not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from it. Use of the website is entirely at your own risk, and RM makes no representations or warranties, whether express or implied, regarding the website's performance.

The RM website may contain links to third-party websites or services. RM is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RM shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website or reliance on Self-Test results, except where liability cannot legally be excluded under South African law. This does not affect liability terms set out in the RM Terms & Conditions for paid engagements.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you submit to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
13. Waiver
RM's failure to exercise any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision, unless acknowledged and agreed to by RM in writing.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, as updated by RM from time to time, constitute the entire agreement between you and RM regarding use of the RM website.
